Tucked into the quiet hills of Orange, Vermont, The Barn at Lonestar Acres is where historic Vermont roots meet warm Texas charm. Originally built in 1818, our beautifully restored barn has been reimagined to host modern celebrations while preserving its authentic rustic character. With soaring timber beams, a spacious pine dance floor, and the perfect blend of barnwood warmth and elegant finishes, it sets the stage for weddings that feel both timeless and unforgettable.

The venue has so many options to use or not…inside or outside ceremony, patios, decks, upper levels and lower levels, housing if needed. Such a beautiful space and amazing views of the mountains, even fields surrounding the venue with Longhorn! 10 out of 10!!”

Katie and Seth have done such an incredible job at their venue! My husband and I couldn’t believe the incredible transformation — it left us speechless! We were the first wedding, and we wouldn’t change one thing. It was the most beautiful scenery to have our ceremony held at, and the most amazing barn to have our reception in! The whole area is spacious and there are so many small details to look out for! They’ve done an amazing job at remodeling the house that is attached to the barn, it looks so modern and beautiful! We love the Texas charm that the whole place holds! The house was perfect to hold our whole bridal party the night before and everyone felt right at home! Katie and Seth are the most generous and sweetest people! We couldn’t recommend a better venue, it’s the absolute perfect place! Thank you guys for everything! We couldn’t appreciate y’all more! 🤍

This was our dream venue! We received so many compliments from our guests on the beautiful view, all the details inside the venue, and how amazing the atmosphere was. The decor, lights, and overall set up was well thought out, making our wedding feel bright, elegant, and western. Everyone loved the cattle as well! It’s clear that Seth and Katie have thought of everything - a couple different options for ceremony sites (including indoor), bathrooms included, a beautiful and functional bridal suite, and plenty of tables and chairs for all the guests. It was so nice to not have to worry about renting bathrooms or hauling in tables and chairs from another vendor - it was all there and set up! In addition, Seth and Katie were so kind and easy to work with. I felt comfortable reaching out with lots of questions, and Katie was very flexible and got back to me quickly. Thank you, Osgood family, for making our wedding so special! We were honored to have our wedding at Lonestar Acres!

We got married in September of this year and it was an absolutely beautiful experience! Seth and Katie were responsive and easy to work with when discussing the set up and use of the barn. They have done amazing work to update the barn and the space is absolutely beautiful! They were flexible on location of our outside ceremony and having the option of the chapel inside if weather didn’t cooperate put our minds at ease. We truly appreciate everything they did to help us make our Wedding unforgettable!💕

From the moment I heard someone bought The Old Cyr Barn it was my mission to learn who and what they were doing with it. I grew up in Washington and spent a lot of time in the barn whether it be a birthday party, wedding or barn dances. I knew if it were possible we wanted to get married here. I found out Seth and Katie had bought the barn and had plans to renovate. I reached out and was welcomed to come look at what they’d already done and chatted about what their plans were. We visited several times over the year and were welcomed every time- without hesitation. Katie and Seth are some of the most kind, generous and welcoming people. From the early on visits and chats to the wedding day they were extremely accommodating with answering questions, providing ideas, assisting in any way possible to be sure our day was everything we had dreamed of, and that it was! We were married on 10.4.25 and we had the most picture perfect fall day. The views and atmosphere were spot on! Everything fell into place perfectly- we couldn’t have asked for a better venue. Both inside and outside had our guests comfortable and in awe of how beautiful everything was and how comfortable the setting was. Seth and Katie, thank you for making our day so special by being the great people you are and bringing back to life a place that held so many memories and allowing it to make more! ♥️
